March 2009 Meeting Minutes

North Olympic Peninsula Railroad Club

The meeting was called to order at 3:00PM on March 28, 2009.

PREVIOUS MINUTES

None.

TREASURER’S REPORT:

The balance in the treasury is $1,175.54.

OLD BUSINESS & NEW BUSINESS:

• There will be a work session on the club modules at Lincoln School April 17 at 9:30am.
• The next meeting will be held at the club house at Lazy Acres April 25. The May meeting will be at the Sequim Library.
• The Bremerton Train Show is 6/13.
• The NOPR website has several photos which have been posted..
• The Railroad Bridge Society event is scheduled for 9/25, 26, 27.
• The club modules will be on display at the Clallam County Fair in the Arts and Crafts Bldg. 8/20-23.Volunteers are needed to man the operation. Chuck Howerton will have his N scale layout if space permits.
• The Kitsp Live Steamers picnic is scheduled for 8/8.

Thanks to Hans Mann for his presentation on how we might proceed on installing DCC on the club modular layout. It was moved, seconded and approved by a voice vote to add DCC to the layout.

The meeting was adjourned.
